Introduction
General foremen generally do not need a university education. The most common qualification for general foremen is a high school diploma with 33% of graduates and only 27% of general foremen graduates obtaining a degree. Some good skills to have in this position include detail orientation, listening skills, and communication skills. To be successful in general foreman careers, it is a good idea to pursue professional certifications popular among general foremen, such as the OSHA safety certificate, the Certified Construction Manager (CCM), or the Foreman certification. In order to improve the qualification and skills of the general foreman, we provide some online courses to help in the training of the general foreman.
